Amorphous blue blob? I'm thinking Blue Mage(8-bit Theatre). In full body-concealing robes, of course.
As for the chibi dude with long hair? Ash from Misfile. Or Tedd from EGS. Maybe the elf from LFG, or Leggolass from DMotR.
Also, give it a bit. Some webcomics get links from major places early on and melt servers, others build up a gradual readership over years. It's as much luck as anything.
